Dear Parents/Guardians,
This year is going to be a fantastic year! My number one goal is to make Social Studies FUN!!!!! I strive to help each student be successful in my classroom, in school, and in their lives. I try to foster a classroom environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and are motivated to learn. In order for students to perform to their full potential, a variety of teaching techniques are used in my classroom. This year’s curriculum includes:

Ancient Mesopotamia Ancient Greece Renaissance
Grading Policy:
Tests/Projects 50% Quizzes 30% Homework 20%

Required Materials for Class Each Day:
Website:
My website includes nightly homework assignments, power point lessons, project information/ rubrics and a calendar for tests and quizzes.

Homework Policy:
Homework assignments CAN NOT be made up (unless a student was absent) A missed homework assignment may result in a recess clinic, minor strike, and assignment to the Homework Club.

Absences: If a child is absent, it is their responsibility to make up all class work, homework, vocabulary, and Channel One notes.
